South Africa take on Romania in a Pool B clash in Bordeaux on Sunday and we take a look at the game from a betting angle.
A reminder to punters that there are plenty of long-term Cup markets that are constantly updated throughout the Tournament. One of these is the Tournament Top Point Scorer where Thomas Ramos, the French fullback is currently trading at 5/2 favourite ahead of Jonny Sexton priced at 7/2. Springbok No. 10, Manie Libbok is the 6/1 shot in this market.

SOUTH AFRICA
The Springboks put in a brutally dominant performance when beating Scotland 18-3 in their opening match. They bossed the first-half and were probably concerned when Scotland nailed a late penalty and the Boks only took a 6-3 lead into the break. They scored 2 tries in the second-half though and were always in control of the game.
South Africa finished 2nd in the Rugby Championships and they won all 3 of their warm-up games against Argentina, Wales and finally New Zealand who they beat 35-7 at Twickenham.
The Springbok camp was rocked this week with news that Malcolm Marx was injured in training and would not be able to take part in the rest of the Tournament.
South Africa have made a number of changes for this clash and Bongi Mbonambi now the first choice hooker will captain the side.

ROMANIA
General opinion amongst punters coming into this Rugby World Cup is that Romania were the worst team in the competition having lost by 14 points to the USA and by 50 points to Georgia and Italy in their warm-up fixtures.
They started 63 point underdogs against Ireland and stunned the massive favourites by scoring the first try. From there on though it was one-way traffic as Ireland ran out 82-8 winners and Romania cannot relish taking on another giant of World Rugby in successive weeks.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
These sides have only met once and that was back in 1995 when the Springboks won 21-8 in Cape Town.
