The Autódromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City is the host of this weekend’s Mexico City Grand Prix and we take a look at the race and suggest a couple of bets.
Max Verstappen came from 3rd on the grid to overtake Lewis Hamilton late on in the USA Grand Prix last week claiming yet another Formula 1 victory. Our 8/1 pick Hamilton finished 2nd and if you had backed him at World Sports Betting you would have got your stake back in the form of free bets.
Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc finished 3rd and he now sits 2 points ahead of Sergio Perez in the race for 2nd place. That is relevant because you can get betting without Max Verstappen who has comfortably wrapped up the Title already and here we have Leclerc trading as a 9/20 favourite with Perez priced at 16/10.

Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton have dominated the Mexico Grand Prix in recent years winning the last five between them with Verstappen taking 3 and Hamilton 2. Last season Verstappen beat Hamilton home by 16 seconds with Perez completing the podium.

Suggested Bet: Lewis Hamilton win at 12/1
Verstappen is once again a worthy short priced favourite and I certainly wouldn’t discourage you from backing him especially with the World Sports Betting Double Your Money promotion (see banner below), but personally I am looking to beat the runaway Championship leader and I am going to back Hamilton to build on last week’s improvement in the USA and to win his first Grand Prix of the season.
Place a bet on any driver to win this week’s Mexican Grand Prix and if your selection wins the race and posts the fastest lap, we will double your winnings in Free Bets!
Suggested Bet: Top 6 Finish Lando Norris, Yes, at 11/10
Norris has come through a bit of a lean patch with 2 top 6 finishes in his last 3 starts and I am betting that his strong finish to the season continues.
