Maritzburg are currently 14th on the log with 2 wins and 5 draws in their 12 matches. They haven’t won in their last 5 games and last time out were hammered 5-0 at home by Mamelodi Sundowns.
They face a Golden Arrows side that is sitting 11th on the log with just 2 points from the last 12 they have played for. They are coming off back-to-back defeats, 3-1 away at Royal AM and 2-0 at home to Orlando Pirates.
Both sides are hard to trust and while Maritzburg United’s home record is decent I think they are going to be carrying some scars from that defeat to Sundowns and I am going for Arrows to win this one and to grab the 3 points.

SATURDAY
Marumo Gallants v Cape Town City – Click here to bet
Marumo Gallants currently sit 2nd from bottom of the table with just 1 win in their opening 11 games. Thankfully for them they have drawn 7 matches including their last game, a goalless draw at home to AmaZulu in midweek. The Marumo Gallants games have averaged only 1.3 goals each with just 1 of their 11 matches delivering you a profit had you backed over 2.5 goals.
Cape Town City are up to 10th on the table after a much needed victory last time out, 2-1 at home to Chippa United. That broke a run of 3 matches without a win. I am expecting this to be a tight, low scoring game and a repeat of last season’s goalless draw is not out of the question.
I will take a slightly more conservative view though and go for the draw at 2/1 rather than the correct score of 0-0.

Royal AM v Mamelodi Sundowns – Click here to bet
Royal AM are currently 7th on the log and they broke a 3 match losing streak when they beat Golden Arrows 3-1 at home in midweek. They have the highest average goals per game in the PSL coming in at 2.6 with 6 of the 11 matches delivering you a profit had you backed over 2.5 goals.
Sundowns are on top of the table leading Richards Bay by 3 points and with a game in hand. They have won their last 5 games in a row including a 5-0 away win over Maritzburg United last time out. They will have been disappointed with their exit in the MTN 8 Cup when they went down 3-0 at home to Orlando Pirates. Sundowns won both matches between the sides 3-2 last season.
I think we are going to get goals in this one and will be betting that we get 3 or more.
