English Premier League Betting Preview, Saturday 5 November
November 3, 2022

We take a look at the 5 English Premier League matches taking place on Saturday and suggest a bet in each.

A reminder that you can click here to see all the latest Premier League long term markets including who will win the title where Manchester City are trading as 2/11 favourites.

Leeds v Bournemouth – Click here to bet

Leeds are currently 15th on the table, 1 point and 1 position behind Bournemouth.  They broke a 4 match losing streak when they beat Liverpool 2-1 on the road last week for only their 3rd win of the season.

Bournemouth looked to be staging something of a recovery, but have now lost last 3 games in a row and last time out went down 3-2 at home to Tottenham.

I feel like Leeds may have turned the corner against Liverpool and I am backing them to get the 3 points here.

Suggested Bet:  Leeds win at 15/20

Manchester City v Fulham – Click here to bet

Manchester City are currently 2nd on the log, 2 points behind leaders, Arsenal and last time out they beat Leicester 1-0 on the road while their last home game was a 3-1 over Brighton.  They have a 100% home record this season.

Fulham are 7th on the log and are undefeated in their last 4 starts.  They played to a goalless draw against Everton last time out and their last away game was a 3-2 win over Leeds.

Manchester City should have few problems breaking down this Fulham defence and they can keep up their home average of over 4 goals per game.

Suggested Bet:  Manchester City, Total Goals over 3.5 at 12/10

Nottingham v Brentford – Click here to bet

Nottingham are bottom of the table after a 5-0 hammering by Arsenal on the road last time out.  Their last home game though was a 1-0 victory over Liverpool.

Brentford are currently 11th on the table and without a win in their last 3 matches.  Last time out they drew 1-1 at home to Wolves and their last away game was a 4-0 hammering at Aston Villa.

Both these sides are struggling for form and I think that either one of them would take a point from this game quite happily.

Suggested Bet:  The draw at 95/40

Wolves v Brighton – Click here to bet

Wolves are currently 2nd from bottom of the table and with only 1 win in their last 7 games.  Last time out they drew 1-1 at Brentford and their last home game was a 4-0 defeat to Leicester.

Brighton are currently 8th on the log and broke a 5 match run without a victory with a 4-1 hammering of Chelsea at home last week.  Their last away game was a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City.

Based on recent efforts I can’t look past a Brighton win on the road here.

Suggested Bet:  Brighton win at 12/10

Everton v Leicester City – Click here to bet

Everton are currently 12th on the table with just 1 win in their last 5 starts.  They played to a goalless draw to Fulham last time out.  Their last home game was a 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

Leicester are sitting in the final relegation spot in 18th.  They saw a 3 match run without defeat ended when they lost 1-0 at home to Manchester City last time out.  Their last away game was a 4-0 victory over Wolves and that was their first away win of the season.  Leicester’s away games average over 5 goals each this season with all 6 delivering profits for over 2.5 goal backers and that is where I am heading this week.

Suggested Bet:  Over 2.5 goals at 19/20
