Manchester City v Brentford – Click here to bet

Manchester City are currently 2nd on the log, 2 points behind Arsenal.  They have a 100% home record this season winning 7 from 7 and scoring 29 goals while conceding just 7.  Brentford are 11th on the table and are on a 4 match run without a victory with 3 draws and an away loss to Villa in that time.

Manchester City haven’t been at their prolific best in recent weeks, but I am expecting them to sign off strongly ahead of the World Cup against a Brentford side that is struggling.

Suggested Bet:  Manchester City Over 3.5 goals at 29/20

Bournemouth v Everton – Click here to bet

Bournemouth are currently 17th on the table, 1 position and 1 point behind Everton.  They are an awful run that has seen them lose their last 4 games in a row including going down 4-3 to Leeds away last time out.  Everton have only won 1 of their last 6 matches and they were beaten 2-0 at home by Leicester in their last start.

Bournemouth matches average 3.4 goals this season while Everton games are only averaging 1.8 goals each, but the way Bournemouth are playing I can’t believe that I am getting above 1/1 for over 2.5 goals in this game.

Suggested Bet:  over 2.5 goals at 11/10

Liverpool v Southampton – Click here to bet

Liverpool got a much needed away victory at Tottenham last time out and they now sit 8th on the table, a distant 15 points behind leaders, Arsenal.  They have only lost once at home this season, but that came in their last Anfield start when they went down 2-1 to Leeds.

Southampton are currently 18th on the log with just 1 win in their last 9 matches.  They were hammered 4-1 at home by Newcastle in their last start.

Liverpool have not conceded to Southampton in their last 5 visits to Anfield and I am expecting that to continue.

Suggested Bet:  Southampton, Total Goals under 0.5 at 11/10

Nottingham v Crystal Palace – Click here to bet

Nottingham are bottom of the table with just 2 wins in 14 starts.  They face a Crystal Palace side that has won 3 of their last 4 and currently sit 10th on the log.

Nottingham are undefeated in their last 3 home games including a victory over Liverpool, but Palace are a team in form and I am backing them to get all 3 points here.

Suggested Bet:  Crystal Palace win at 29/20

Tottenham v Leeds – Click here to bet

Tottenham are 4th on the table, but have lost 3 of their last 4 games including a 2-1 home defeat to Liverpool last time out.  They face a Leeds side that is climbing up the table and currently is sitting in 12th after back-to-back victories at home to Bournemouth and away at Liverpool.

Over 2.5 goals has arrived in the last 3 matches each of these sides have played, but at 8/13 it is a bit short for my pocket and I am taking a more ambitious bet that we will get 4 goals or more in the game.

Suggested Bet:  Over 3.5 goals at 15/10

West Ham v Leicester – Click here to bet

West Ham are currently 15th on the table, but with 3 losses in their last 4 starts including a 2-1 home loss to Crystal Palace last time out.  Leicester sit 1 position above them, level on points, but with a superior goal difference.  However Leicester are in better form with 3 wins in their last 4 starts, last time out beating Everton 2-0 on the road.

Leicester are looking for their first successive victory on the road and I think they may get it, but will take a more conservative view and back them to get at least a point out of the game.

Suggested Bet:  Handicap, Leicester +0.5 goals at 8/10

Newcastle v Chelsea – Click here to bet

Newcastle are up to 3rd on the log and they have won 6 of their last 7 games including their last 4 in a row.  Last time out they beat Southampton 4-1 away and their last home win was a 4-0 win over Aston Villa.

Chelsea are 7th on the table and have taken only 2 points from the last 12 they have played for coming off back-to-back defeats at home to Arsenal and away at Brighton.

Chelsea have dominated this fixture in recent times, but I think that run ends here against a red hot Newcastle team.

Suggested Bet:  Newcastle win at 27/20

Wolves v Arsenal – Click here to bet

Wolves are currently 2nd from bottom of the log and have only taken 1 point from their last 4 matches.  They face an Arsenal side which is flying high at the top of the table with just 1 defeat in their opening 13 games.  Wolves have lost 3 of their last 4 home matches with Arsenal winning 3 of their last 4 on the road.

I don’t think it is going to be easy for Arsenal, but I am fancying a workmanlike 1-0 victory.

Suggested Bet:  Correct Score 0-1 at 6/1
