DENMARK v TUNISIA
DENMARK
Denmark came through their qualification without problems, topping their group with 9 wins and 1 loss. They were excellent in last year’s EURO’s eventually going out to England at the semi-final stage and in their last International back in September they beat France 2-0 at home in the Nations League.
TUNISIA
Tunisia topped their qualification group, progressing to the play-offs where they beat Mali 1-0 over two legs to book their spot in Qatar. They also made the finals in 2018, but failed to progress from the group stages and they were beaten quarter-finalists in AFCON. Tunisia’s last warm-up game was a 2-0 victory over Iran last week.

HEAD-TO-HEAD
These sides have only met once, but it was way back in 2022 when Denmark won a friendly 2-1.

Denmark 5/10
Draw 33/10
Tunisia 13/2
Suggested Bet:Â Both teams to score, YES, at 14/10
I expect Denmark will win this game, but Tunisia scored in their last 5 International matches and I am tempted by the price that both teams find the back of the net.

FRANCE v AUSTRALIA
FRANCE
France are the defending World Cup Champions having won in Russia in 2018. They had few problems qualifying to defend their Title, but were disappointing in last season’s EURO Competition where they failed to reach the final stages. France haven’t been in the best of form this year and their last match in the Nation’s Series was a 2-0 defeat away to Denmark, but they have an excellent squad and plenty of continuity from the side that won in 2018.
AUSTRALIA
Australia reached the finals in Qatar in dramatic fashion winning a penalty shoot-out playoff final against Peru, that after having finished 3rd in their qualifying group. In preparation for the World Cup they played a double header against New Zealand back in September, winning 2-0 on the road and 1-0 at home.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
These sides met in the World Cup group stages in 2018 with France winning 2-1.

France 3/10
Draw 9/2
Australia 10/1
Suggested Bet:Â First Goal Scorer, Kylian Mbappe at 28/10
I am battling to make up my mind looking at some of the more traditional bets like Over 2.5 Goals priced at 7/10 and France to win by more than a goal priced at 17/20 and instead I will look at a Player First Goal Scorer Market where I am hoping the favourite can deliver up the goods.
