Golden Arrows are currently 4th on the log on 4 points after 2 matches. They opened their account with a 1-1 draw at home to Swallows and then travelled to Richards Bay where they won 2-1 and like Sundowns they also required a late winner in that one after Richards Bay had equalised by a penalty kick in the 86th minute, Arrows though grabbed all 3 points in the 88th minute.
Mamelodi Sundowns had to work hard for victory over Golden Arrows in this fixture last season winning 2-1 and the reverse fixture finished 1-1 at Arrows. The season before that Sundowns did the double including a 6-0 victory in this fixture.
Sundowns were also in action on the weekend when they beat Swallows 1-0 in the MTN 8 Cup and as much depth that they have in their side I think that Arrows can challenge them and that Sundowns will drop their first points of the season.
