MANCHESTER CITY
After a very successful 22/23 season, Man City earned themselves the chance to compete for the UEFA Super Cup after their 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final in Istanbul earlier this year. City have started their 23/24 season in a similarly strong manner as they finished their previous season with a 3-0 win over Burnley away from home last Friday.
SEVILLA
After The Europa League final finished 1-1 in Budapest, Sevilla managed to beat Roma 4-1 in Penalties to win the Europa League as well earning them their spot in the UEFA Super Cup. Sevilla have not however started the new season the way they would have hoped to, after suffering a 1-2 loss to Valencia on home soil in their opening La Liga game.
