We take a look at three of the UEFA Champions League Playoff matches taking place midweek and suggest a bet in each game.
TUESDAY
RANGERS v PSV EINDHOVEN – Click here to bet
Rangers booked their spot in the playoffs with a 3-2 aggregate in over Servette earlier this month. Rangers did the damage in the first leg winning 2-1 at home before drawing 1-1 on the road to secure a shot at a Champions League spot. Rangers were in action in their local Cup on the weekend beating Morton 2-1 at home
PSV were too strong for Sturm Graz in the last round winning 7-2 on aggregate. They hosted the first leg where they cruised home 4-1 before beating their opponents 3-1 on the road. PSV were in League action on the weekend winning 3-1 at Vitesse, their 9th successive victory in all competitions including pre-season friendlies.
These sides met in the Champions League playoffs last season with Rangers winning 3-2 on aggregate.
Eindhoven are slight favourites for this game, but I don’t think there will be much between the sides and a repeat of last year’s draw at Ibrox could be on the cards.

WEDNESDAY
BRAGA v PANATHINAIKOS – Click here to bet
Braga had few problems seeing off TSC 7-1 on aggregate winning the home leg 3-0 and the away match 4-1. They were in action on the weekend in their domestic League winning 4-2 at Chaves.
Panathinaikos beat Dnipro-1, 5-3 on aggregate and they then saw off Marseille on penalties over 2 legs.
Bookmakers are expecting a low scoring game with under 2.5 goals trading at 8/11, but looking at Sporting De Braga’s latest fixtures I think the value lies in over 2.5 goals.

MOLDE FK v GALATASARAY – Click here to bet
Molde have had to come through two tight matches to reach this point. They played HJK first up losing 1-0 on the road before winning 2-0 at home to edge it 2-1 on aggregate. Klaksvik were next up with Molde once again going down on the road 2-1 and they then forced extra time at home before winning with a 112th minute strike. They have got mixed results in the League of late and have drawn their last 2 matches.
Galatasaray faced Zalgiris on 3-2 on aggregate with the first leg drawn 2-2 and Galatasaray winning 1-0 away. They were then convincing winners over O. Ljubljana 4-0 on aggregate doing the damage with a 3-0 first leg victory on the road.
Galatasaray are undefeated in their last 6 matches across all competitions.
Galatasaray are shading favouritism here at 29/20 with Molde 37/20 and I am expecting the Turkish team to take a clear advantage back to Istanbul.
