UFC fight night is set to take place on the 26th of August at the Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore, where the centre of attention will be the featherweight main event, where Max Holloway takes on The Korean Zombie.

MAX HOLLOWAY VS. CHAN SUNG JUNG
Featherweight Main Event:
Max Holloway is an American fighter with ample experience in the UFC, having a record of 20-7. Holloway has fought around the top end of the division for 7 years and he is known for his electric striking.
He has been exceptional throughout the featherweight division, only losing 4 fights in the past 9 years with all of them being in title fights. Holloway suffered 3 losses to Alex Volkanovski and 1 loss to Dustin Poirier. He comes into this fight off a win over Arnold Allen earlier this year, and with Holloway being seen as one of the best fighters the featherweight division has ever seen, he enters this fight as a heavy favourite.
Chan Sung Jung, known as “The Korean Zombie”, is a veteran in the UFC, who has had a lengthy career. It is important to note that he has been known to take long breaks between his fights which leaves his UFC record at just 7-4 despite making his debut 12 years ago. Chan Sung Jung enters this fight coming off of a 16-month break since his last fight, where he lost to the reigning champion, Alex Volkanovski in a title shot.
The Korean Zombie is known for his powerful striking and he will look to make a statement in the division in order to keep his professional career alive.

Prediction:
Although both fighters possess years of experience in the UFC, I believe that due to the magnitude of highly rated fighters that Holloway has defeated, he will have no problem over-coming Chan Sung Jung and he will win in round 2 via KO.

ANTHONY SMITH VS. RYAN SPANN
Light Heavyweight Bout:
Anthony Smith is a well-known striker in the light heavyweight division, he has a ton of experience in the sport and his career was at its best in 2019 when he was on a winning streak and was given a title shot at Jon Jones, where he lost by unanimous decision.
Smith has lost his 2 most recent fights against talented opponents, Johnny Walker and Magomed Ankalaev. Still ranked in the top 10, Smith will look to take his second win over Spann and get his career back on track.
Ryan Spann is known for his skills in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he has won 2 of his 3 fights since he last faced Smith, where he lost by submission.
Spann can be seen as a solid contender in the light heavyweight division, and he will see this fight as not only an opportunity to take revenge but also to climb the rankings and compete at a higher level in the division.

Although Smith has roughly 50 professional MMA fights and has a huge amount of experience, I believe that Spann will be hungry for the win and the fight will go the distance with Spann winning by decision.
GIGA CHIKADZE VS. ALEX CACERES
Featherweight fight:
Giga Chikadze is a Georgian fighter who is a skilled striker. After entering the UFC in 2019, he went on a classy 7-fight win streak before suffering his first loss to Calvin Kattar early in 2022. After a year and a half break from fighting, Chikadze feels the time is right to make his return to the octagon this weekend.
Alex Caceres is an American, who uses a freestyle fighting approach. He made his UFC debut in 2011 and since then he has moved across the various weight divisions before finding his form in the featherweight division 4 years ago. He has won 7 of his 8 fights in the last 4 years with his only loss coming to the impressive Sodiq Yussuf.

Prediction:
I believe that the younger fighter, Chikadze, will come out firing after his loss to Kattar and he will beat Caceres in round 3 via TKO.
