Serie A continues this weekend and we take a look at 4 of the matches taking place over Saturday and Sunday and suggest a bet in each.
Heading into Week 3 of Serie A Inter Milan are the 2/1 favourites ahead of Napoli at 28/10, Juventus 7/2 and AC Milan on offer at 15/4.

SATURDAY
Udinese v Frosinone – Click here to bet
Udinese got off to a slow start to the season with only 1 point from their opening two games. They were predictably beaten 3-0 at home by Juventus in Week 1, but were then marginal favourites away to Salernitana where they could only draw 1-1 in their second match.
Frosinone have taken 3 points from a possible 6 having lost 3-1 at home to Napoli in their opener before coming out and beating Atalanta 2-1 also at home and on that day you could have backed them at just shy of 11/2.
There is no recent head-to-head form between these sides.
Udinese are the 5/6 favourites here, but I wouldn’t be backing them with any confidence and I prefer a bet on over 2.5 goals here, a bet which would have arrived in both of Frosinone’s opening fixtures.
Suggested Bet:Â Over 2.5 goals at 10/11

Napoli v Lazio – Click here to bet
Napoli are currently sitting 2nd on the log with a 100% record after two matches. They beat Sassuolo 2-0 at home last time out and their opener was a 3-1 win away at Frosinone.
Lazio by contrast have yet to open their account, with losses in their opening 2 games. They opened up with a 2-1 away loss at Lecce despite starting 12/10 favourites and they were as short as 8/10 to win their home match against Genoa which they lost 1-0.
Napoli lost at home to Lazio last season, but they won their previous 4 home meetings against these opponents and 3 of those were by more than a goal.
Based on what I have seen today Napoli should win this comfortably.
Suggest Bet:Â Handicap, Napoli -1.5 goals at 33/20
SUNDAY
Empoli v Juventus – Click here to bet
Empoli are currently sitting 19th on the log without a point in their opening two matches. They went down 1-0 at home to Verona, a game where they started favourites in Week 1 and were then beaten 2-0 away at Monza in their last match.
Juventus have 4 points from a possible 6 and currently sit 6th on the log. They were 3-0 victors away at Udinese in what looked like a tricky opening encounter, but then failed to justify 7/10 favouritism when they could only draw 1-1 at home with Bologna in their second match.
Empoli stunned Juventus in this fixture last season winning 4-1 and they are 4/1 for an upset victory here with Juventus priced at 7/10 and the draw at 29/10.
I am once again leaning to the goals markets here namely on the back of head-to-head form with the last 3 matches each having delivered 4 or 5 goals. Over 2.5 goals is priced at 9/10, but I am going to stick my neck out and go for over 3.5 goals at 9/4.
Suggested Bet:Â Over 3.5 goals at 9/4

Lecce v Salernitana – Click here to bet
Lecce are currently 7th on the log with 4 points from their opening two matches they beat Lazio 2-1 at home in their opening game where they started 28/10 underdogs and they then drew 2-2 away at Fiorentina which wasn’t a bad result given they were the 9/2 underdogs in that game.
Salernitana have drawn both their opening matches 2-2 away at AS Roma where they were priced as big as 13/2 for the win and then 1-1 at home to Udinese where they were marginal underdogs.
Looking at head-to-head form last season both fixtures finished 2-1 to the away teams.
Based on what I have seen from Lecce this season I expect them to grab the 3 points here.
Suggested Bet:Â Lecce win at 21/20
