We have a look at 5 of the Serie A matches taking place this weekend and suggest a bet in each.

Let’s start with a look at the Outright Betting heading into the weekend where Inter Milan are trading as 13/10 favourites ahead of AC Milan at 7/2, Juventus are 4/1, Napoli 11/2 and you can get 33/1 and better the balance.

FRIDAY

LECCE v GENOA- Click here to bet

Lecce are currently 4th on the log and are unbeaten after 4 matches.  They drew 1-1 away at Monza last time out and their two home games have been victories over Salernitana and Lazio.

Genoa are sitting 13th on the log with just 1 win in their opening 4 games.  They drew 2-2 at home to Napoli last time out and their only win came on the road against Lazio in Round 2.

I am pleasantly surprised to be getting 27/20 about a Lecce win as they have looked very impressive at home.

Suggested Bet:  Lecce win at 27/20

SATURDAY

SASSUOLO v JUVENTUS – Click here to bet

Sassuolo are currently 17th on the log with 1 win and 3 losses in their opening 4 games.  They were beaten 4-2 away at Frosinone last time out and their only win came at home in their penultimate start when they beat Verona 3-1 at home, a game where they started 19/20 favourites.

Juventus are currently 2nd on the log, 2 points behind Inter after 4 matches from which they have taken 10 points out of a possible 12.  They beat Lazio 3-1 at home last time out and on the road they have beaten Empoli and Udinese and they have yet to concede a goal.

Sassuolo won this fixture last season, but I can’t see a repeat and I am going with Juventus to win this one at 5/6.

Suggested Bet:  Juventus win at 5/6

LAZIO v MONZA – Click here to bet

Lazio are currently 15th on the log with 3 points from a possible 12.  Those came by a 2-1 away victory at Napoli in their penultimate start, a game where they started over 4/1 to win the match.  Last time out they were beaten 3-1 at Juventus and their only home game of the season was a 1-0 defeat to Genoa.

Monza are 14th on the log with 4 points from 4 matches.  They drew 1-1 with Lecce at home last time out and both of their away games have ended in defeat, 3-0 to Atalanta and 2-0 to Inter.

Lazio did the double over Monza last season, but I can’t back either team with confidence and I think that the draw is a big runner here.

Suggested Bet:  The draw at 28/10

SUNDAY

BOLOGNA v NAPOLI – Click here to bet

Bologna are currently 11th on the log with 5 points from their opening 4 games.  They played out a goalless draw at Verona last time out.  Their last home game was a 2-1 win over Cagliari, a game where they started just under 8/10 favourites.  Their other home game was an opening day loss 2-0 to AC Milan.

Napoli are currently 5th on the log having opened their campaign with two victories only to lose at home to Lazio and then last time out they drew 2-2 at Genoa.

This fixture finished 2-2 last season and the reverse fixture 3-2 to Napoli who are 10/11 to win this fixture.  I am turning my attention to the goal markets though with goals flowing in Napoli’s game and a total of 9 goals in the two fixtures last season I am happy to take the 8/10 that we will get 3 goals or more.

Suggested Bet:  Over 2.5 goals at 8/10

TORINO v AS ROMA – Click here to bet

Torino are 7th on the log having recovered from a slow start to the season with a draw and a loss in their opening two games.  They have since had back-to-back wins, 1-0 at home to Genoa and 3-0 away to Salernitana, in both games they started close to even money favourites.

AS Roma are only 12th on the log and having taken 1 point from the opening 9 they played for they got their first win of the season last time out when they hammered Empoli 7-0 at home.  They have only played 1 away game this season and it was a 2-1 loss to Verona.

Roma edged this fixture 1-0 last season with the reverse fixture finishing 1-1.

Goals have really flowed in Roma games this season with all 4 delivering profits for over 2.5 goal backers and 2 of the 4 Torino games have also had 3 goals or more in them.  It has me rubbing my eyes at the price on over 2.5 goals at 31/20, it looks cracking value.

Suggested Bet:  Over 2.5 goals at 31/20
