RAFAEL FIZIEV VS. MATEUSZ GAMROT
Lightweight main event:
Rafael Fiziev is an Azerbaijan fighter who is a well-known striker, he also possesses a solid Muay Thai skillset. Since losing in his debut UFC fight against Magomed Mustafaev, Fiziev has been on top form having won 6 of his 7 fights since then. Fiziev won all 6 fights in a row before losing by decision to Justin Gaethje in his most recent bout in March this year.
After showing off his skillset during his winning streak prior to the Gaethje bout, Fiziev will look to bounce back to his original form and climb towards a lightweight title shot.
Mateusz Gamrot is a Polish fighter who is talented in the field of wrestling. After also losing his debut fight in the UFC, in a fight against Guram Kutateladze, he also seemed to find his form, winning 5 of his last 6 bouts, with his most recent fight ending in a decision win over Jalin Turner in March.
Gamrot enters the Octagon as the slightly less experienced fighter in terms of UFC fights, but regardless of this he also has his eyes focused on the title and will be looking to make a statement this weekend.

BRYCE MITCHELL VS. DAN IGE
Featherweight bout:
Bryce Mitchell is an American fighter who is known for his abilities in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He currently holds a record of 5-1 in the UFC, winning his first 5 fights before facing his only loss so far in his most recent bout against Ilia Topuria, where Mitchell lost by submission.
After a successful start to his career, he will look to turn things around following the loss and get back on track in the division.
Dan Ige is an American fighter who has great experience in the UFC. He made his debut in 2018 and since then he has fought in 14 fights. He is well known for his powerful wrestling and despite losing 3 of his last 5 fights, his 2 most recent fights have ended in wins for Ige by TKO and decision, giving him confidence leading up to the weekend.
Ige does enter the bout as the underdog, and he will have to give everything he has to stop Mitchell.

Mitchell (5/10)
Ige (17/10)
Prediction:
I believe that these fighters both have enough in the tank for this fight to go the distance and I predict Mitchell will win by unanimous decision.
MARINA RODRIGUEZ VS. MICHELLE WATERSON-GOMEZ 2
Marina Rodriguez is a Brazilian fighter who is known for her clean striking, she has won 4 of her last 6 bouts and is in decent form, however her 2 most recent bouts have ended in losses to Virna Jandiroba and Amanda Lemos. Despite these losses she enters the fight as the heavy favourite, and she will look to dominate her opponent.
Michelle Waterson-Gomez is an American fighter who possesses skills in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, she has lost 4 of her last 5 fights, with 1 of these losses being to Rodriguez in 2021, making this weekend the second time these two have met in the UFC octagon. She enters the fight as the underdog, and she is in serious need of a win to keep her career alive.
