Serie A fans have plenty of midweek action to bet on and we take a look at two of the games taking place on Wednesday and Thursday suggesting a bet in each.

WEDNESDAY

Inter currently top the table with maximum points from their opening 5 games.  They scored 14 goals while just conceding 1 and last time beat Empoli 1-0 on the road.  They have been dominant at home in their 3 matches this season winning all 3 games and scoring 11 goals while conceding just 1.

Sassuolo are currently sitting 12^th on the table, but things have looked better of late with two wins in their last 3 games.  They caused a 7/2 upset when they beat Juventus 4-2 at home on the weekend, but their problems have been on the road where they have lost by 2 goals in each of their 2 matches this season.

Inter were too strong in this fixture last season winning 4-2 and they also won 2-1 on the road.  Two seasons back though it was Sassuolo who stunned Inter with a 2-0 victory on the road at a price of 17/2.

Sassuolo have lost both of their away matches by more than a goal so I am quite happy to be backing the pace setters to do exactly that in front of their home fans.

THURSDAY

Genoa v AS Roma – Click here to bet

Genoa are currently sitting 16^th on the log with 4 points from their opening 5 games.  They lost 1-0 away at Lecce on the weekend and in their two home games they have drawn 2-2 with Napoli and lost 4-1 to Fiorentina.

AS Roma are 13^th on the log after a slow start to the season that saw them take just 1 point from their opening 9 they have played for.  They got off the mark in their penultimate start with a thumping 7-0 home win over Empoli but could only draw 1-1 at Torino last time out.

Genoa were relegated in the 2021/22 season and these sides didn’t meet in the League last year, but Roma has won their last 3 away matches against Genoa and I am happy to take them to get all 3 points here at anything bigger than even money
