There is one English Premier League match taking place on Tuesday night and we take a look at the game between Luton Town and Burnley from a betting angle.

Manchester City remain 8/15 favourites to win the Premier League despite their shock defeat at Wolves on the weekend.  Arsenal are 11/2 second favourites narrowly edging Liverpool who are 6/1 and you can get 15/1 Tottenham, 33/1 Newcastle and 50/1 and better the balance.

LUTON TOWN

Luton have found things tough on their promotion to the English Premier League, but they got their first victory of the season when they beat Everton 2-1 away on the weekend.  They started the match as 9/2 underdogs, but were 2-0 up by the 31^st minute only to concede a goal just before half-time.  The second-half finished goalless as Luton hung on for the 3 points.

Luton had previously taken just 1 point from 5 matches.  Their last home game was a 1-1 draw against Wolves and they are undefeated in their last 2 matches.  4 of the 6 Luton games have delivered profits for over 2.5 goal backers, but Luton themselves only managed 5 goals in those 6 matches.

BURNLEY

Burnley are currently 19^th on the log with 1 point from their opening 6 games.  They lost 2-0 away to Newcastle on the weekend, their 5^th loss of the season.

Burnley have only played twice on the road this season, drawing 1 and losing 1 and 50% of the Burnley matches have delivered profits for over 2.5 goal backers although their last 3 games have all finished with 2 goals or less in them.

Although Luton’s victory came against Everton who are also struggling this season it was impressive in that they were on the road and they now face  a Burnley side who are struggling to get goals.  I am going to bet on a home win here.
