THURSDAY

NEW ZEALAND v URUGUAY – Click here to bet

New Zealand

New Zealand are currently 2nd in Pool A and they need 5 points against Uruguay to guarantee their passage to the Quarter-Finals.

They opened their campaign with a 14 point loss to France in a game where the bookies could not separate sides and they then hammered Namibia 71-3 before turning in one of the performances of the World Cup with a 96-17 beating of Italy, a game where they started 28 point favourites.

Uruguay

Uruguay got their first victory of the World Cup when they beat Namibia 36-26 in their last match, it was a game where they started 18 point favourites.  They lost by 21 points to Italy in their 2nd game and in their opener defied a 50 point handicap to lose 27-12 to France.

Head-to-Head

This will be the first meeting between the sides.

Handicap:  New Zealand -66.5

It should be straight forward for the All Blacks and we look for the position of the first try scorer for a bet and side with 9,10,12 or 13

Suggested Bet: Position to Score 1st Try, 9,10,12 or 13 at 16/10

FRIDAY

FRANCE v ITALY – Click here to bet

France

France will secure top spot on the table with a victory here to book a likely quarter-final spot against South Africa.

They opened their campaign with a 27-13 win over New Zealand before a largely changed side battled for a 27-12 win over Uruguay.  They were 69 point favourites when they played Namibia in their 3rd match which they won by a massive 96-0.

Italy

Italy were seen as dark horses of this group and they won their opening game 52-8 against Namibia before beating Uruguay 38-17.  Although they started big underdogs against New Zealand there was talk of an upset win, but after 20 minutes the match was already race over and it was only a consolation try in the final minute brought the winning margin under 80 points.

Head-to-Head

These sides met in Rome in the Six Nations earlier this year with France coming out 29-24 victors, their 13th successive victory over Italy who have not beaten France since 2013.

Handicap:  France -26.5

There wasn’t much between the sides when they met in Rome in the 6 Nations but Italy could be shell shocked from the crushing defeat to the All Blacks and we go with France to cover the handicap.

Suggested Bet: Handicap France -26.5 points at 10/11
