FRIDAY
ATHLETIC BILBAO v ALMERIA – Click here to bet
Athletic Bilbao are 6th on the table, but they have stumbled of late losing 3-0 away to Real Sociedad in their last start and prior to that drawing 2-2 at Getafe. They have taken 7 points from a possible 12 at home this season.
Almeria are bottom of the table on 3 points from their opening 8 games and they are still looking for their first win of the season. They drew 3-3 at home to Granada last time out and their last away game was a 5-1 defeat to Sevilla.
Both teams have found the net in Almeria’s last 7 games and the 10/11, both teams to score, yes, is tempting, but with 4 of their last 5 games having 4 goals or more in them I am going to go for a high scoring game.
Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 31/20

SATURDAY
MALLORCA v VALENCIA – Click here to bet
Mallorca are currently 16th on the table with just 1 win in their opening 8 games. They are coming off back-to-back draws away to Rayo Vallecano and at home to Barcelona both finishing 2-2 and their last 3 matches have had a total of 14 goals in them.
Valencia are 9th on the log, but have slipped down the table having only taken 1 point from the last 9 they have played for. They have had back-to-back defeats away at Betis and at home to Real Sociedad.
Mallorca did the double over Valencia last season and they are 29/20 for the win here, but my interest is once again in the goals markets where over 2.5 goals looks overpriced given the Mallorca recent matches and the fact that it would have arrived in the last 5 head-to-head meetings between the sides.
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 15/10
SEVILLA v RAYO VALLECANO – Click here to bet
Sevilla are 15th on the log on 7 points from their 7 matches. They went down 1-0 at Barcelona last time out and their last home game was a 5-1 hammering of Almeria, a game where they started 7/10 favourites. Overall at home this season they have won 2 and lost 2 of their 4 matches.
Rayo Vallecano are 8th on the table and although unbeaten in their last 4 starts, their last 3 games have all been draws, most recently 2-2 at home to Mallorca and prior to that a goalless draw at Cadiz.
Rayo Vallecano won this fixture 1-0 last season with the reverse finishing 1-1 at home and I am battling to separate these sides.
Suggested Bet: The draw at 27/10
SUNDAY
ALAVES v REAL BETIS – Click here to bet
Alaves are currently 17th on the log with 2 wins in their opening 8 games. They have only taken 1 point from the last 12 they have played for though and last time out lost 2-0 at home to Osasuna and they have taken 6 points from a possible 12 in front of their own fans.
Betis are currently 3rd on the log and they are undefeated in their last 3 with 1 win and 2 draws. That win came last time out 3-0 at home to Valencia and their last away game was a 1-1 draw at Granada. They have only won 1 of 4 matches on the road this season scoring 5 goals and conceding 11.
Betis have won their last 4 matches against Alaves and although they didn’t meet last season I am happy to go in on the back of those stats and back the visitors here.
Suggested Bet: Real Betis win at 17/10
GRANADA v BARCELONA – Click here to bet
Granada are 2nd from bottom of the table with just 1 win in their opening 8 starts. They drew 3-3 with Almeria away last time out and their last home game was a 1-1 draw with Betis. In 4 matches at home this season they have scored 6 goals and conceded 9.
Barcelona are 2nd on the log, 1 point behind Real Madrid with 20 points from their opening 8 games. They are the only undefeated side in LaLiga this season. Barcelona beat Sevilla 1-0 at home last time out and their last away game was a 2-2 draw at Mallorca and they have a 50% win/loss record on the road this season scoring 8 goals and conceding 6.
Barcelona are 4/10 favourites for this game, but Granada won’t be pushovers and I am going to settle on a correct score bet here on Barcelona to win 3-1.
Suggested Bet: Correct Score 1-3 at 9/1
