We take a look at two of the Euro 2024 qualifiers taking place on Friday night and suggest a bet in each game.

France are currently the 4/1 favourites to win the Euro 2024 and they are in action away to Netherlands and previewed in this fixture.  The Netherlands are 13/1 and Portugal whose game against Slovakia is also previewed here are 9/1 with Slovakia rank outsiders at 200/1.

NETHERLANDS v FRANCE – Click here to bet

This is a Group B clash and features second place Netherlands ahead of leaders France.  The Netherlands are currently on 9 points and are coming off 3 successive victories, most recently 2-1 away at Ireland.  Their 2 home games have been 3-0 wins over Greece and Gibraltar.

France are top of Group B with 5 wins in 5 starts and last time out they beat Ireland 2-0 at home.  Their away form has been solid with a 3-0 win over Gibraltar and a 1-0 win over Ireland.

These sides met in the opening match of the group back in March with France winning 4-0 at home.

The Netherlands are a much improved side from the one that was beaten in France and they are 22/10 for the win with the French priced at 5/4.  Personally, I think this one is going to finish all square.

PORTUGAL v SLOVAKIA – Click here to bet

Portugal are top of Group J on 6 wins from 6 starts.  They beat Luxembourg 9-0 at home last time out, a game where they started 1/12 favourites and their other home games have been a 3-0 win over Bosnia & Herzegovina a 4-0 win over Liechtenstein.

Slovakia are 2^nd on the table, 5 points behind Portugal with both sides having played 6 games.  They won 4 out of their last 5 matches including a 3-0 home win over Liechtenstein last time out.  Prior to that they had hosted Portugal going down 1-0 at home and their two away games to date has seen them beat Liechtenstein 1-0 and Iceland 2-1.

Portugal are priced as 1/4, the draw 5/1 and Slovakia 11/1 outsiders.

I am expecting this game to be an entertaining one with goals, potentially at both ends.
