SODIQ YUSUFF VS. EDSON BARBOZA
Featherweight Main Event:
Sodiq Yusuff is a Nigerian fighter who is known for his effective striking, as well as his insane stamina. Since entering the UFC in 2018, he has won 6 of his 7 fights, with his only loss being by decision to Arnold Allen. The last time he fought was in October of last year, where he picked up a submission win over Don Shainis in round 1.
Yusuff has been on good form throughout his UFC career so far and he will enter this fight as the bookies favourite.
Edson Barboza, fighting out of Brazil, possesses talent in the field of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and he is also known for his powerful striking. After his debut UFC fight in 2010, Barboza has gained a ton of experience in the octagon. Barboza has won 3 of his last 5 fights and his most recent fight ended in a round 1 TKO over Billy Quarantillo in April this year.
Although Barboza is a veteran in the UFC, he has not been in great form as of late and as the underdog this weekend, he will have to make a statement in the division now before it is too late.

Yusuff (6/10)
Barboza (11/8)
Prediction:
I believe that Yusuff’s current form will be enough to take him past the veteran whose best days must surely be behind him and I predict he will win in round 3 via TKO.

JENNIFER MAIA VS. VIVIANE ARAUJO
Women’s Flyweight Bout:
Jennifer Maia is a Brazilian fighter who shows great skill in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, she has won 2 of her last 3 fights with all of them going the distance and her only loss was to Manon Fiorot, a very talented fighter. Her most recent fight was a decision win over Casey O’Neill in March this year.
She enters the octagon as the slight favourite this weekend.
Viviane Araujo is also a Brazilian fighter who uses a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighting style. She has lost 2 of her 3 most recent fights with her only win being over Andrea Lee by decision, in May last year. Her most recent fight ended in a decision loss to Amandas Ribas in early March this year.
Coming in on the back of 2 consecutive losses, she will be seen as the underdog in the betting markets.

Maia (13/20)
Araujo (13/10)
Prediction:
I believe that both fighters will have enough in them to go the distance, and Maia will gain enough points throughout the fight to win by Decision.
CAMERON SAAIMAN VS. CHRISTIAN RODRIGUEZ
Bantamweight Bout:
Cameron Saaiman is a South African fighter who is a well balanced mixed martial artist. He is currently 3-0 in the UFC, and he has been in solid form from the get-go. His last fight ended in a round 1 TKO win over Terrence Mitchell at UFC 290 in July this year. He will enter this fight with the betting odds against him and will be looking for a dark horse win to continue his perfect UFC streak.
Christian Rodriguez will fights out of America, and he is known for his freestyle fighting technique. Since losing his debut UFC fight in 2022, he has managed to win both of his fights since then, leaving him with a 2-1 professional record. He won his last fight via decision against Raul Rosas Jr. in April this year and that is enough to make him the favourite for this bout.
