We take a look at two of the Euro 2024 qualification matches taking place on Monday and Tuesday and suggest a bet in each game.

BELGIUM V SWEDEN – Click to bet

Belgium currently top Group F with 5 wins and a draw from their 6 matches.  They have won their last 4 games including beating Austria 3-2 on the road last week.  Two home matches have seen them beat Estonia 5-0 and draw 1-1 with Austria.  Belgium have scored 16 goals and conceded just 3.

Sweden are 3^rd on the Group with 6 points from their 5 matches after 2 wins and 3 losses.  They lost 3-1 at home to Austria last week and prior to that hammered Estonia 5-0 on the road.  Their only other away game was a 2-0 loss to Austria.

When these sides met in Sweden in Matchday 1 Belgium came out on top 3-0.

Belgium have scored at least 3 goals in 4 of their 6 matches and I am going to back them to do so again in front of their own fans.

ENGLAND v ITALY – Click here to bet

England are currently top of Group C with 4 wins and a draw in their opening 5 matches.  That draw came in September when they were away to the Ukraine and the game finished 1-1.  At home England have beaten North Macedonia 7-0 and the Ukraine 2-0 and England have scored 16 goals in their 5 matches conceding just 2.

Italy are 3 points behind England in 2^nd place in the group having recovered from an opening day loss to go 4 matches unbeaten.  They were too strong for Malta on Saturday winning 4-0 at home.  On the road they had a disappointing 1-1 draw to North Macedonia, a game where they started 3/10 favourites and they beat Malta 2-0.

When these sides met on Matchday 1 England beat Italy 2-1 in Italy.

England are 13/20 for the win with the draw priced at 29/10 and Italy the outsiders at 9/2.  I expect England to be too strong for Italy, but I don’t think there is going to be much in this game and I am going to have a bet that England win by 1 goal exactly.
