We take a look at 6 of the English Premier League matches taking place on Saturday and suggest a bet on each game.
The International break is over and that means the English Premier League returns and Manchester City are still trading as favourites at 8/11 ahead of Arsenal at 4/1, Liverpool 11/2, and Tottenham 11/1, and you can get 40/1 and better the balance.

LIVERPOOL v EVERTON – Click here to bet
Liverpool are currently 4th on the log but without a win in their last 2 games. They drew 2-2 at Brighton last time out, but at home this season they have a 100% record after 3 matches.
Everton are 16th on the log with 2 wins in their last 3 matches. They beat Bournemouth 3-0 at home in their last game and their last away match was a 3-1 win at Brentford.
Liverpool won this fixture 2-0 last season and under 2.5 goal backers would have collected in the last 3 Merseyside derbies.
Goals have been flowing in Liverpool games and I am going to be betting that we will get 4 or more goals in this one.
Suggested Bet:Â Over 3.5 goals at 21/20

BOURNEMOUTH v WOLVES – Click here to bet
Bournemouth are currently 19th on the log and without a win in their opening 8 games. They are coming off 3 successive defeats and last time lost 3-0 away to Everton. Their last home game was a 4-0 defeat to Arsenal.
Wolves are 14th on the log with 2 wins in their opening 8 matches. They are undefeated in their last 3 and drew 1- 1 at Villa last time out and stunned Manchester City 2-1 at home before that.
Bournemouth are slight favourites for this game at 14/10, but I am happy to back Wolves to get the 3 points given Bournemouth’s recent struggles.
Suggested Bet:Â Wolves win at 39/20
Â
MANCHESTER CITY v BRIGHTON – Click here to bet
Manchester City are 3rd on the log, but have suffered back-to-back defeats away at Arsenal and at Wolves. They have won all 3 of their home games scoring 8 goals and conceding just 1.
Brighton are 6th on the log, but have lost momentum with a home draw against Liverpool and a 6-1 defeat away at Aston Villa in their last two starts. Brighton’s 3 away games have had a total of 16 goals in them.
I am expecting Manchester City to be too strong at home and to deliver something similar to the 3-1 victory they had last year.
Suggested Bet:Â Handicap, Manchester City -1.5 at 1/1

NEWCASTLE v CRYSTAL PALACE – Click here to bet
Newcastle are 8th on the log and have taken 10 points from the last 12 they have played for. They drew 2-2 at West Ham last time out and their last home game was a 2-0 win over Burnley. They have won 3 out of 4 home games this season.
Crystal Palace are 9th on the log, 1 point behind Newcastle. They are undefeated in their last 3 and drew 0-0 at home to Tottenham last time out and the week before that beat Manchester United 1-0 on the road.
Under 2.5 goal backers would have collected profits in 9 of the last 10 head-to-head’s between the sides in the League and I am going to bet on this trend continuing.
Suggested Bet:Â Under 2.5 goals at 21/20Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â

CHELSEA v ARSENAL – Click here to bet
Chelsea are currently 11th on the log and are recovering from a slow start to the season. They are coming off back-to-back away wins over Burnley and Fulham.
Arsenal are 2nd on the table level on points with Tottenham and only behind the leaders on goals scored. Arsenal were 2/1 to beat Manchester City at home last time out and they beat them 1-0 and they have taken maximum points from their 3 away matches this season.
Arsenal have won on their last 3 visits to Stamford Bridge in the League and I am betting they can make it 4 in a row.
Suggested Bet:Â Arsenal win at 27/20
Â
SHEFFIELD UNITED v MANCHESTER UNITED – Click here to bet
Sheffield United are bottom of the table and without a win in their opening 8 games, they have lost 7 and drawn 1. At home they have played 4 matches drawing against Everton and losing the other 3 games including an 8-0 defeat to Newcastle.
Manchester United are 10th on the table and have won 2 out of their last 3 matches. They beat Brentford 2-1 at home last time out and on the road this season they have taken 3 points from a possible 9.
Sheffield United have put in some decent performances at home this season including a 2-1 loss to Manchester City and I am going to back them to lose this game by exactly 1 goal.
Suggested Bet:Â Handicap, Sheffield United +1, the draw at 28/10
