FRIDAY

OSASUNA v GRANADA – Click here to bet

The hosts are currently 12th on the table with 10 points from their opening 9 games.  They have only won 1 of their last 6 matches and last time out they were hammered 4-0 at Real Madrid.  They have the worst home record in La Liga having played 4 matches and only taken 1 point to date.  They have also only scored 1 goal in front of their own fans while conceding 6.

Granada are sitting 2nd from bottom of the table in 19th spot after just 1 win in their opening 9 games.  They haven’t won in their last 6 matches, but they are coming off 3 successive draws, most recently a creditable 2-2 result at home to Barcelona, a game where they started 6/1 underdogs.  Their last away game finished 3-3 at Almeria and overall on the road this season they have taken 1 point from a possible 12.  Granada’s away matches have averaged 4.8 goals this season with 3 of their 4 games delivering profits for over 3.5 goal backers.

Osasuna are 5/6 for the victory with the draw 28/10 and Granada priced at 33/10.  This game screams goals to me and I am torn between over 2.5 goals at 10/11 and over 3.5 goals at 23/10, in the end, the gambler in me is emerging and I am taking the bigger price.

Suggested Bet:  Over 3.5 goals at 23/10.

SATURDAY

GETAFE v REAL BETIS – Click here to bet

Getafe are currently 11th on the log with 10 points from their opening 9 matches.  They haven’t won in their last 4 games, but are coming off 3 successive draws, most recently 2-2 away at Celta de Vigo.  Their last home game was a goalless draw against Villarreal and that is the only one of their 6 matches that hasn’t delivered profits for over 2.5 goal backers.

Real Betis are currently sitting 9th on the table with 13 points from their opening 9 matches.  They are undefeated in their last 4 games with 3 draws and a victory.  Last time out they drew 1-1 at Alaves and prior to that beat Valencia 3-0 at home.

Betis has struggled on the road this season winning just 1 of their 5 matches and have only taken 2 points from a possible 12 in 4 matches on their travels.

Getafe home matches average only 1.5 goals each away while Betis away matches averaged 3.6.

A look at the recent history between the sides shows low scoring fixtures with the away team winning 1-0 in each match last season and the last 5 head-to-head’s in the League have delivered profits for under 2.5 goal backers.

The hosts are 15/10 with Real Betis priced at 85/40 and the draw at 21/10.

I was hoping for a good price for under 2.5 goals, but that is 4/7 and instead, I am going to go for the draw in what I expect to be a tight match.

Suggested Bet:  The draw at 21/10
