CHELSEA
Chelsea are 14th on the log after two matches and they are still looking for their first victory of the season. in their opener at home to Liverpool they held their own with the game finishing 1-1, but despite starting 12/10 favourites in their second match away to West Ham they were well beaten going down 3-1 to their London rivals. West Ham had taken the lead in the 7th minute only for Chelsea to hit back in the 28th, but the Hammers made it 2-1 in the 53rd minute and sealed the deal with a penalty kick in injury time.
LUTON TOWN
Luton had their match against Burnley postponed so they have only played 1 match so far and that was away at Brighton on the opening weekend. Luton began steadily enough, but conceded in the 36th minute and although they scored in the 81st they conceded 3 goals in the last 20 minutes to go down 4-1 and they are now trading at 3/10 to be relegated.
RECENT HEAD-TO-HEAD
There is no recent head-to-head League form to go on between these sides with Luton only just returning to the Premier Division after an absence of more than 20 years. They did meet in the 2021/22 FA Cup though where Chelsea won 3-2 at Luton in the 4th Round.
