International football Euro 2024

We take a look at 3 of the Euro 2024 qualifiers taking place on Monday night and suggest a bet in each of them.

Armenia v Croatia – Click here to bet

These sides are contesting Group D where Croatia are sitting 2nd on the log with 7 points from a possible 9 and Armenia are behind them on goal difference also on 7 points, but having played an extra game.

Armenia’s last result was a 1-1 draw at Turkey and their last home game was a 2-1 win over Latvia.  Croatia were at home to Latvia in their last start winning 5-0 and their last away game was a 2-0 win over Turkey.

Armenia are big underdogs for this clash being priced at 7/1 with Croatia 4/10 and the draw 15/4.  Both teams have found the back of the net in all 4 of Armenia’s matches to date and I am betting on that trend to continue.

Suggested Bet:  Both teams to score, YES, at 21/20

Latvia v Wales – Click here to bet

Latvia are currently bottom of Group D without a point in their opening 4 matches. They were hammered 5-0 when visiting Croatia last time out.  The other 3 defeats have all come from just a single goal.

Wales are on 4 points from 4 matches and sitting 4th on the log in Group D.  They started well with a draw against Croatia and a home win against Latvia, but have since gone down 4-2 at home to Armenia and 2-0 on the road to Turkey.

Wales are a short price here at 5/10 and while I fancy them to get the job done I have a feeling this will be another tight one and I am betting them to win by exactly goal.

Suggested Bet:  Handicap, Wales -1, the draw at 12/5

Portugal v Luxembourg – Click here to bet

Portugal are top of Group J with a 100% record after 5 matches. Last time out they beat Slovakia 1-0 on the road and while their two home games have been a 3-0 defeat of Bosnia & Herzegovina and a 4-0 victory over Liechtenstein.  After 5 matches Portugal have scored 15 goals and have yet to concede.

Luxembourg are 3rd on the table on 10 points from their opening 3 games.  They began with an away draw to Slovakia and then lost at home to Portugal 6-0.  They subsequently run off 3 successive victories and last time out beat Ireland 3-1.

Portugal are short as 1/16 to win this match with Luxembourg 45/1 for an unlikely victory.  Portugal put 6 goals on Luxembourg away from home and I am going to back them to score at least 4 in this fixture.

Suggested Bet:  Portugal goals over 3.5 at 11/10
