FRIDAY
Rayo Vallecano v Deportivo Alaves – Click here to bet
Rayo Vallecano started the season with two victories on the road, but they were brought back down to earth when they hosted Atlético Madrid losing 7-0 at home. In their last match they went down 1-0 away at Betis, a game where the home team started 11/10 favourites.
Alaves are sitting in 9th position three positions above Vallecano with 2 wins and 2 losses, but a superior goal difference. Both of their wins have come at home they have lost both of their games on the road without scoring a goal.
I lam backing Vallecano to recapture their early season form and get the 3 points against a side that is struggling on the road.
Suggested Bet: Vallecano win at 19/20

SATURDAY
Celta de Vigo v Mallorca – Click here to bet
Celta de Vigo are currently 13th on the log with 4 points from their opening 4 games. They got their first win of the season last time out when they beat Almeria 3-2 on the road, a game where they started 15/10 favourites. At home this season they have played 2 and lost 2, going down to Real Madrid 1-0 and Osasuna 2-0.
Mallorca are sitting 17th on the table with 2 points from their opening 4 games. They drew 0-0 at home to Athletic Bilbao in their last start and on the road they have lost 3-2 to Granada and drawn 1-1 at Las Palmas.
Last season Mallorca did the double over Celta De Vigo winning both fixtures 1-0.
Celta Vigo are 21/20 for the win with Mallorca 16/5 and the draw 22/10, but it is the goal markets that are tempting me here. Over 2.5 goals is trading as 13/8 and although both fixtures were low scoring last season these teams have 3 of their last 6 head-to-heads have 4 goals or more.
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 13/8
FC Barcelona v Real Betis – Click here to bet
Barcelona are currently 3rd on the log with 10 points from a possible 12. They have won their last 3 games, last time beating Osasuna 2-1 on the road and their only home game this season was a 2-0 victory over Cadiz.
Betis is sitting 7th on the log with 7 points from their opening 4 matches. They got a much needed win at home against Rayo Vallecano last time out winning 1-0 and their 2 home games have been a 4-2 defeat to Athletic Bilbao and a 2-1 victory over Villarreal in their opening game of the season.
Barcelona did the double over Betis last season winning this fixture 4-0.
There have been some really high scoring fixtures between these sides over the years and although Betis have given Barcelona problems in front of their own fans if Barcelona do beat them it is usually by 3 goals or more and I am going to go back to Barcelona to beat the handicap of 1.5 goals
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Barcelona -1.5 goals at 21/20
