LA LIGA PREVIEWS

We take a look at two of the La Liga matches taking place on Sunday and suggest a bet in each of them.

Let’s start with a look at the Outright La Liga Betting heading into the weekend where Real Madrid are trading as the 8/11 favourites with Barcelona 15/10, you can get 9/1 Atlético Madrid and 90/1 and better the balance.

SEVILLA v LAS PALMAS – Click here to bet

Sevilla are currently bottom of the table and without a point after 3 matches and they went down 2-1 at home to Girona last time out despite starting 19/20 favourites and the other games were a 4-3 defeat at Alaves and a 2-1 defeat at home to Valencia where they were also odds on for the victory.

Las Palmas aren’t doing much better though, they have played an extra game picking up 2 points from their 4 matches.  They have drawn both their home games and their away matches were a 1-0 defeat to Valencia and a 1-0 defeat to Girona.  Las Palmas have only scored 1 goal in their opening 4 matches and their matches average 1 goal a match in total.

Although Sevilla have got off to a slow start they have shown an ability to get goals which is more that can be said about their opponents.  They are 13/20 for the win, but I fancy them strongly and I am going to back them to win by more than a goal.

Suggested Bet:  Handicap, Sevilla -1.5 goals at 7/4

REAL MADRID v REAL SOCIEDAD – Click here to bet

Real Madrid are top of the table with a 100% record after 4 matches.  They played their first home game last time out beating Getafe 2-1 and prior to that had won 3 matches in a row on the road.

Real Sociedad are unbeaten and sitting 8th on the log with 6 points out of a possible 12.  They opened their campaign with 3 successive draws including drawing their only away game 0-0 at La Palmas.  Last time out they played their first home game beating Granada 5-3 in a game of end-to-end action.

Real Sociedad took 4 points from a possible 6 against Real Madrid in the League last season winning at home and playing out a goalless draw in this fixture.

Real Madrid are 4/6 for the win with the draw on offer at 3/1 and Real Sociedad are the outsiders here at 4/1.

I am expecting a home win, but I think we may get some goals and I am betting we get 3 or more in the match.

Suggested Bet:  Over 2.5 goals at 17/20
