There is just one La Liga game taking place on Monday night and we take a look at the match between Girona and Granada from a betting angle.

GRANADA
Granada have played 4 matches taking 3 points courtesy of a home victory over Mallorca 3-2 in their penultimate start. Last time out they were away at Real Sociedad where the home team were 9/20 favourites for the win and although Granada fought hard they went down 5-3 in a high scoring and entertaining match. Three of the four Granada fixtures have now had 4 goals or more in them.
GIRONA
Girona opened their campaign with a 1-1 draw away at Real Sociedad, but they subsequently churned out 3 successive victories starting with a 3-0 win at Getafe and then a 2-1 victory at Sevilla. Their last match saw them beat Las Palmas 1-0 at home, a game where they started 7/10 favourites, but had to wait until the 88th minute before they grabbed the win.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
There is no recent head-to-head form between these sides and they last met in the 2010/11 season where the home team won on each occasion.

I have been impressed with Girona so far this season and I am quite surprised to be getting 13/8 about their chances and will back them to take the 3 points.

There are of course plenty of other markets on offer and my main bet in the game is going to be over 2.5 goals at 19/20. Goals have been flowing in Granada games and I really expected the over 2.5 goals to be closer to 8/10
