SUNDAY
BARCELONA v ATHLETIC BILBAO – Click here to bet
Barcelona are currently 3rd on the log with 6 wins and 3 draws in their opening 9 matches. 2 of those draws have come in their last 3 games including their last match away at Granada where it finished 2-2. Barcelona have played 4 home matches this season winning all of them and scoring 11 goals while conceding just 2. 6 of the 9 Barcelona matches have delivered profits for over 2.5 goal backers this season.
Athletic Bilbao are 5th on the log, 4 points behind Barcelona after 9 matches. They beat Almeria 3-0 at home last time out, a game where they started 3/10 favourites. Their last away match was a 3-0 defeat to Real Sociedad and they have taken 7 points from a possible 12 away from home this season. 4 of the last 5 Athletic Bilbao matches have had 3 goals or more in them.
Barcelona are 4/6 for the win with the draw on offer at 3/1 and Bilbao at 4/1.
Bilbao’s last two trips to Barcelona have ended in 4-0 defeats and I am going to back Barcelona to win this one by more than a goal.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Barcelona -1.5 goals at 17/10

MONDAY
VALENCIA v CADIZ – Click here to bet
Valencia are currently 9th on the log, but without a win in their last 4 starts. They drew 1-1 at Mallorca last time out and before that were beaten 3-0 on the road by Betis. They have played 4 matches at home this season winning 2 and losing 2 and their home games have only averaged a total of 2 goals each.
Cadiz are currently 13th on the log with 2 wins in their 9 matches, but they have only taken 2 points from the last 15 they have played for. They went down 1-0 at home to Girona last time out and prior to that were away to Atletico Madrid where they lost 3-2. They have only taken 1 point in 4 away matches this season, scoring 3 goals and conceding 9.
Cadiz did the double over Valencia last season and they haven’t been beaten by Valencia in 6 games since moving to the top flight. I am expecting that stat to change though and will back Valencia to take the 3 points at home.
Suggested Bet: Valencia win at 8/10
