Mamelodi Sundowns continue to fly high at the top of the League and their 2-0 victory over Richards Bay on the road, on Friday night was their 9^th successive win and since returning from the World Cup break they have had 3 victories, all by 2-0 margins and they have not conceded a goal in the League in their last 7 matches.

Chippa United have fallen to 9^th on the table after a poor run that has only seen them take 2 points from the last 12 they have played for.  They lost 2-0 away to Swallows last time out and in their return to action, drew 1-1 at Stellenbosch.

Sundowns edged Chippa United 1-0 away earlier in the season and last season they won this fixture 2-0.

The way Sundowns are playing at the moment this should be a routine victory for them and I am going to back them to continue their recent run of games won by at least 2 goals.

WEDNESDAY

Stellenbosch v Marumo Gallants – Click here to bet

Stellenbosch are currently 13^th on the table and without a win in their last 6 starts.  Since returning to action they drew 1-1 at home to Chippa United and played out a goalless draw at TS Galaxy.  Stellenbosch’s last 5 games would have delivered you a profit had you backed under 2.5 goals.

Marumo Gallants currently sit bottom of the table and they have lost their last 3 matches since returning from the World Cup break.  They went down 1-0 at home to Maritzburg United last time out and previously lost on the road to Sekhukhune and SuperSport United.  Only 3 of the 15 Marumo Gallants matches have reached the 3 goal mark with their games averaging just 1.6 goals each in total.

These sides played to a goalless draw earlier this season and last season Stellenbosch won this fixture 1-0.
